Create a FieldOps Africa Account¶
FieldOps accounts are created through the public registration page.
When you register, FieldOps creates:
- Your user account
- A new organization workspace
- An initial trial subscription
- Your organization owner access
Before you begin¶
You need:
- A valid email address
- The name of your organization
- A secure password
Use an email address that you can access immediately because FieldOps requires email verification before you can continue.
Step 1: Open the registration page¶
Go to the FieldOps registration page to create your account.

Step 2: Enter your account details¶
Complete the registration form with:
- Organization name — the name of the organization that will use FieldOps
- Your name — your full name
- Email address — the address you will use to sign in
- Password — a secure password
- Confirm password — enter the same password again
The organization name is used to create your FieldOps workspace.
You will become the owner of that organization.
Step 3: Submit the registration form¶
Select Register after confirming that your details are correct.
FieldOps will:
- Create your user account
- Create your organization workspace
- Assign you as the organization owner
- Apply the available trial plan
- Send an email verification message
Step 4: Verify your email address¶
Open the verification email sent by FieldOps.
Select Verify Email Address.
After verification, FieldOps redirects you to the application so that you can continue setting up your workspace.
Warning
The verification link expires after a limited period. Request a new verification email if the original link has expired.
Step 5: Complete the initial workspace setup¶
After signing in, FieldOps asks how you want to begin.
Available starting paths may include:
- Create a monitoring template
- Import data from Excel
- Connect KoboToolbox
- Connect ODK Central
- Explore the dashboard
Choose the workflow that matches what you want to do first.
FieldOps creates supporting workspace records only when they are required for the selected workflow.
Your trial period¶
Your FieldOps trial begins after email verification.
The trial duration and available usage limits depend on the trial plan configured by FieldOps.
Signing in later¶
After registration, use the FieldOps sign-in page:

Enter the email address and password used during registration.
Common problems¶
The verification email has not arrived¶
Check:
- Your spam or junk folder
- Whether the email address was entered correctly
- Whether your email provider delayed the message
You can request another verification email from the verification screen.
The email address is already registered¶
Use the sign-in page instead of creating another account.
Use password recovery if you no longer remember your password.
The registration form cannot be submitted¶
Confirm that:
- All required fields are complete
- The password and confirmation match
- The email address is valid
- Any automated security check has completed
The verification link has expired¶
Return to the FieldOps verification page and request another verification email.
What to do next¶
After creating and verifying your account:
- Complete the initial workspace setup
- Review your organization settings
- Invite colleagues to your organization
- Start your first FieldOps workflow
